10 Must-Have Items For People Who Are ALWAYS Cold
Do you live in a constant shiver? My husband always makes fun of me, because even in the summer I’m usually sitting in the living room in a hoodie with a blanket on. Perhaps it’s my Swedish roots? Anyway… Below are my 10 Must-Have Items For People Who Are ALWAYS Cold.

1.Love Your Melon Beanie
Not only is this an excellent and stylish gift, but the Love Your Melon Company gives 50% of their net profit to support nonprofit partners “in the fight against pediatric cancer, create therapeutic experiences and fund charitable programming initiatives for children and families battling cancer.”
The quality is amazing, as well as the cause. You can’t go wrong with this gift idea for your cold blooded friends and family!
2. Bootie Slippers
There is some debate about whether or not we lose half our body heat through our feet and head. Whether or not that statement is true, I think we can all agree socks on our feet keep us warmer. One step up from socks… slippers! Even better? Bootie Slippers.
Bootie Slippers is something I swear by. My mom and I both love our bootie slippers. I couldn’t find them on Amazon, but the ones pictured below are just as adorable and warm.
3. Heated Jacket
We are a football family, despite my best efforts. Did you know 95% of football season takes place in the arctic? Okay, I made that fact up but the point is I freeze to death watching K-State play. One thing that has saved me in the past is a heated jacket!
It’s worth the extra money to get a good brand, such as the Men’s Heated Jacket pictured above. However, DO NOT forget to charge the battery before you leave the house. It’s a game changer, and not in the good way.

4. Fleece Blanket
Throw Blankets are a cold person’s best friend. You CANNOT go wrong with getting your chilly friend a throw blanket. The bigger the blanket the better. I am 6ft tall and the shortest person in my family, so I basically need a queen-sized throw.
(Also, anything that’s knit with a bunch of holes is not worth it. The breeze gets through, so it doesn’t keep you as warm. Stay away from the see-through blanket.)
Keep in mind, it’s nice to have a throw blanket that is big, comfy, warm, that also matches your decor. A blanket like this one pictured below is the perfect option!
5. A Heated Mug
Personally, I get to working and forget my tea until it’s cold. Cold drinks make a cold-blooded person shiver more. A heated mug like this one is a perfect gift for the forgetful and chilly. There’s nothing better than a warm mug on frigid fingers.
Oh, and don’t forget to charge your mug in between uses.
6. Kettle
Speaking of hot drinks, another great gift idea is a Tea Kettle. Nothing warms up the body like a nice warm cup of tea with a few drops of honey. It’s just soothing to the soul.
This kettle pictured below has an adjustable temperature feature that makes it perfect for a variety of drinks.
7. Space Heater
Is it a little too dramatic to say I live for my space heater? It might be because fall is upon us or because my husband likes to keep our thermostat at 66 degrees. Who knows? You just can’t go wrong with a space heater.
This gift is also a great idea for the chilly person at your office. I keep my space heater by my desk for those days when my toes simply will not stay warm and I can’t wear my slippers. I mean, slippers aren’t acceptable footwear in the office, right?
8. Flannel Sheets
A game changer. My sister in law bought us flannel sheets a couple Christmas’s ago, and it is one of my great joys to unpack them each season. I love flannel sheets!
9. Heating Pad
It might seem like too easy of a buy, but you can never have too many heating pads when you live in a constant chill. Keep one at work, one at home, one in your car…. Okay, well maybe not in your car because most vehicles have heated seats now.
The point is, you can never have enough heating pads like this one. They make for a perfectly useful and thoughtful gift.
10. Gloves
When in doubt, go for some trendy and comfortable gloves. I’m always losing one or watching as my favorite pair slowly unravels. It’s good to have a back-up pair or two. My pro-tip would be to get a pair of texting gloves like these, because no one likes to deal with taking your gloves on and off.
Pro Tip: Be sure to get gloves that are a bit longer, so the wrists are covered. It’s miserable to have that gap of bare skin between your coat and gloves.
