10 Sustainable Products on Etsy You Will Love

Two of my resolutions for 2021 were to live more sustainable and support small businesses. I was excited to find so many sustainable home solutions on Etsy from various small businesses around the world. Below is a collection of my favorites: 10 Sustainable Products on Etsy You Will Love. 1. Reusable Paper Towels

I’m still trying to convince my husband to completely give up paper towels. That argument became much more difficult when we had our baby girl. I mean, kids are messy. Anyway, I’m getting off track. These reusable paper towels by @CozySimpleLiving on Etsy are a beautiful and eco-friendly way to save a few trees.

2. Dish Sponge

Another sustainable product on Etsy you will love is this dish sponge by @MeMotherEarth. What I love about this particular Etsy shop is that the owners are passionate about helping others to eliminate single-use plastics by educating them about helpful alternatives. Be sure to check out the entire catalog of eco-friendly products.

3. Dish Brushes

If you prefer to clean dishes with a brush rather than a sponge, this beautiful brush set by @Greendly is a good option. The Greendly shop is “a movement and a community open to everyone who loves this earth and wants to do their part in taking care of it” and they believe no change to be too small. How very true.

4. Ear Cleaners

Something I had never thought of was the number of ear cleaners I use in a year. As it turns out, cotton swabs are a tremendous source of ocean pollution. Do you part to eliminate some of that pollution by using these ear cleaners by @Willowooduk.

5. Face Cleaning Pads

Last year I started using reusable face cleaning pads, and I actually saw a difference in the cleanliness of my skin. I’m now very much an advocate for using cotton pads like the ones pictured above by @Greendly. Try them out to not only make your home more eco-friendly but to help improve the health of your skin.

6. Bento Box

Bento Boxes are a big hit on Instagram and Tik Tok. Using a box like the one pictured above by @LoveSustainLifestyle is environmentally friendly and Instagrammable. I mean, who doesn’t want to eat an aesthetically pleasing and organized lunch? I sure do.All the items from this Etsy shop are “curated from recycled, biodegradable, compostable or recyclable components.”

7. Dryer Balls

Another option in my list of 10 Sustainable Products on Etsy You Will Love are these wool dryer balls. Dryer sheets are not only terrible for the environment, but can be toxic. Harmful chemicals released by dryer sheets have been shown to cause “ailments like respiratory issues, runny noses, asthma attacks, skin issues, migraines and even gastrointestinal symptoms.” Spare yourself a literal headache by using wool balls as a dryer sheet alternative.

8. Produce Bags

Prior to restrictions caused by the pandemic, we were growing accustomed to reusable bags like these by @Greendly. The garbage made by things like produce bags can really add up over time. Reduce your plastic consumption by trying reusable grocery bags.

9. Smoothie Straws

My favorite thing on the list of 10 Sustainable Products on Etsy You Will Love are these turtle smoothie straws. If you choose to implement any of these items into your daily routine, let it be this one. Especially if you love a good smoothie. Most mornings I have a super food smoothie for breakfast and use a glass straw. They are far superior to regular straws are are easily cleaned. Such a simple way to reduce plastic use!

10. Duster

The final item on my list of sustainable products for the home are these reusable dusters by @TSDesignsUS. These dusters are easily washed and in my opinion collect much more dust than the disposable options. Find out for yourself by testing the ones above.
