12 Fantastic Christmas Toys for Your Toddler
When I unpacked the Christmas decorations, I found all the cute Christmas toys we have for Ronia. Technically these twos could be played with year round, but I get them out only in winter to make them extra special for her. Read below to learn more about the 12 Fantastic Christmas Toys for Your Toddler.

1. Wooden Airplane
You may notice many of the toys on our list are from the Hearth and Hand line at Target. I cannot get enough of them. So cute, durable, and Ronia loves them! The plane is our newest addition, and I got a deal on it, because it was missing a tag, so the lady at checkout just guessed on a price. Bonus!
2. Christmas Tree Truck
We got this little Christmas tree truck last year, and it’s just the cutest. It’s no longer available at Target, but you can find it on sites like Poshmark and Mercari.
3. Christmas Tree Stacking Toy
I believe I got this at Target last year, but it looks like they have it at Walmart as well. It’s pretty heavy on the bottom, so beware of that being used as a weapon or dropped on a foot. Just saying.
4. The Christmas Story Family
Every year my family watches A Christmas Story on Christmas Eve. I have the whole thing memorized, so I was blown away when I saw they had a little Fisher Price set of the family from the movie. If you are a fan of the film, then you are welcome. If not, what are you doing with your life??
5. Wooden Merry-Go-Round
Another new addition to our collection is this wooden Merry-Go-Round. I showed Ronia some videos of what a real Merry-Go-Round looks like and now she loves to help her little animals friends to play on it (and fall off when it spins too fast, which I think is highly accurate).
6. Wooden Animals
The wooden animals you’ve seen in pictures are also a part of the Magnolia line. They fit in all the coordinating toys and are very durable.
7. Stories of Jesus
Jesus is the reason for the season, so I went ahead and go out our collection of stories about Jesus. There are a couple about Baby Jesus and his birth, which is helpful to explain to Ronia what Christmas is all about.
8. Christmas Puzzles
I found these Christmas puzzles in the dollar spot at Target. They are a little cheap, but that’s probably why they were in the dollar spot. Still, cute and inexpensive, so I will take it.
9. Felt Christmas Tree
After doing a lot of looking for a felt tree online, I decided to make one myself. I had a lot of felt from projects in the past, so saved money doing it this way. Instead of sewing the felt pieces together, I used a no-sew hem adhesive. You just put the adhesive between the layers of felt and hold the iron to the fabric until it holds. Much easier than I thought it would be!
10. Wooden Christmas Cookies
Ronia is getting a little play kitchen set for her birthday, and I’ve had these cookies in a box waiting for her for months and months. I can’t wait to see her face when she gets her own little kitchen!
11. Books, Books, Books
You can never have too many books in my opinion. Be sure to check out my blog post about Christmas books to read to your toddler!
12. Ornaments
If you are brave, try setting up a little Christmas tree with safe ornaments in your kids room. Ronia loves to take her ornaments off and re-decorate the tree every day. It’s so sweet.
