5 Fantastic Fall Toys and Games for Your Toddler
One of my favorite things about the changing seasons is getting to try new things with our toddler. Ronia is growing so fast. I just love to watch her learn and figure things out. These 5 Fantastic Fall Toys and Games for Your Toddler below are some of our favorites. Be sure to send me an email if you can think of more ideas to add to the list!

1. Leaf Puzzle
When I think of fall, I think of falling leaves. One of the best ways to add a bit of fall to your toddler’s playroom is with a puzzle. You can talk about fall and the different types of trees while working on fine motor skills and matching. A leaf puzzle is always a win. We got ours from Amazon, but there are also many options on Etsy!
2. Apple Threading
Speaking of fine motor skills, another excellent fall-themed toy is this apple with a worm on a string. Your toddler can learn to thread the worm in and out of the apple and then back out again. Or drag the apple around by the string, which is usually what Ronia decides to do.
3. Apple Seed Counting
Another great apple toy on our list of 5 Fantastic Fall Toys and Games for Your Toddler is this montessori toy on Amazon. I love that you can take apart and put together the apples as well as count the seeds. We got the little bushel in the Target Dollar Spot. It was the perfect container for our new apple collection!
4. Cart of Pumpkins
Speaking of Target Dollar Spot, I saw this little wagon and decided to use it as a toy in Ronia’s playroom. It just goes to show you don’t need to spend a lot of money or think too hard to find fall toys for your toddler. I filled the cart with plastic pumpkins we had in our decorations. Ronia loves to feed them to her stuffed animals or take them in and out of the wagon.
5. Fall Tree
Okay, so I had seen the Christmas felt trees, but never a fall one. Obviously we had to have it. Ronia loves removing and replacing all the leaves on her tree. It’s a great toy to work on colors. For example you can ask, “Could you bring me a green leaf,” etc. The fabric on this one feels a little cheap, but toddlers destroy most things, so I’m okay with it!
Bonus Idea: BOOKS!
There are so so many autumn books for toddlers. Be sure to check out my blog post about our favorites or my list on Amazon. Reading books is always such a rewarding and special activity to do with your toddler.
