1. Peter Pan (2003)
The obvious first choice for my list 5 Movies that Will Spark Your Childs Imagination is Peter Pan. The idea that you can fly away to a land of fun and adventure and never grow old. Honestly sometimes I still like to daydream about a place like that. My sister and I love the 2003 version of the story most.
2. Christopher Robin (2018)
Ask my husband what my top five favorite movies are and he will most certainly name Christopher Robin. It’s such a charming film that brings to life the world of Winnie the Pooh. If you grew up on the work of author AA Milne, you will love this movie. Winnie the Pooh will always have a special place in my heart.
3. Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016)
Alice is another fictional character that has my heart. If there is any movie on this list that will spark imagination, it’s Alice Through the Looking Glass. I mean, there are all sorts of creatures, traveling through mirrors, eating snacks to grow and shrink…. Alice is the epitome of imagination.
4. The Borrowers (1997)
I might be aging myself by selecting this movie for my list of 5 Movies that Will Spark Your Childs Imagination. The Borrowers are little tiny people that borrow things from big people in order to build their homes and live their lives. It’s such an interesting idea, that there are little people borrowing things like lost socks and hairpins.
5. A Little Princess (1995)
The final movie on the list has a very special place in my family. The Little Princess was who I aspired to be as a girl, and she was my husband’s first crush. How cute is that? The Little Princess is the story of a girl who goes to boarding school while her dad is at war. She uses the power of storytelling to help her navigate school and give herself comfort when her father goes missing in action. It’s a MUST see in my opinion.
