Dark Chocolate Toffee Butter Cookies

Ingredients:
2 1/3 Cups All Purpose Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1 cup Unsalted Butter, Softened
1 cup Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 cup Toffee Bits
1 1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Chips
Instructions:
1. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl.
2. Beat butter and sugar together in a separate bowl until fluffy.
3. Add egg and vanilla extract and beat until combined.
4. Slowly add the flour mixture until combined.
5. Mix in toffee bits until just incorporated.
6. Cover bowl and refrigerate for 20 minutes or until dough is no longer sticky.
7. Shape dough into a log and wrap tightly in plastic to refrigerate another 2 hours.
8. Preheat oven to 350F.
9. Slice chilled dough into cookies and place 1 inch apart on cookie sheets. You may need to line your cookie sheets with parchment paper.
10. Baked 15 minutes, until edges are brown. Allow cookies to cool completely.
11. Half dip cookies in melted dark chocolate for garnish. You could also sprinkle with chopped nuts on the chocolate side for extra crunch.
12. Allow chocolate to set before serving and enjoy!
