Before I begin this list of 8 Delicious Eats and Treats Near Tampa Florida, I want to say that the service at Tampa restaurants is A+. I went to most of these locations on my own while my husband was attending a conference for work. Being alone was nerve-wracking, but the service and kindness of each and every place that I stopped at was beyond comforting.

There is not a restaurant on this list that I would recommend 10/10, not only because the food was amazing, but because the people were amazing, too. 1. Acai Bowl from Grain and Berry

Grain & Berry is a highly instagramable location with dozens of menu options. If you love a delicious smoothie bowl, I highly recommend this location. Keep in mind the bowls are rather large, so you may need to share with a friend. The bowl I chose was the Old School Acai Based Option. Yum!

2. Rice and Chicken Bowl from Fresh Kitchen

Fresh Kitchen has a 100% gluten-free menu with homemade sauces, antibiotic free meats and zero processed sugar. The parking at Fresh Kitchen is a little tricky, so keep that in mind if you would like to stop there for a meal.

Honestly, the parking was the only issue I had with this stop. The bowl was sublime and my body felt good afterward. I always know a meal is truly healthy when I feel energized and awake after eating it. The bowl I chose included brown rice, broccoli, citrus chicken, and parmesan cheese.

5. Charcoal Vanilla Bean Soft Serve from Sweet Soul SOHO

I was skeptical about the idea of black ice cream, but… as an ice cream connoisseur I can say this was the best ice cream I have ever had. No joke. The storefront is also super cute and the staff was helpful. I must have asked a dozen questions, and I could not have been more impressed with their positive attitudes and service.

The best part? Sweet Soul has a plant-based menu that’s vegan and vegetarian. Cheers to guilt-free dessert options.

6. Acai Bowl from SOHO Juice Co.

So, quick story. I misplaced my phone while I was at the SOHO Juice Co and I fully started to panic. The staff was so kind in helping me look around until I found it, so this restaurant is a win for me. Thank you, SOHO Juice Co staff for all your help!

The acai bowl I chose was the Old School Acai Based Option. The flavors were excellent, but I prefer to have only acai as a base.

7. Vegan Chocolate Cupcake from SOHO Juice Co.

I’ve always feared that vegan options will not be as delicious as the typical options, but man was this cupcake GOOD. I mean, look at how cute it is! Again, the staff at SOHO recommended it to me, and they get five stars for being the absolute best. That cupcake was all sorts of yum yum yum.

8. Biscuit Beignets from Another Broken Egg Cafe

Not gonna lie, this might be my favorite item on the list. I hadn’t planned on going by Another Broken Egg Cafe while we were in Tampa, but I had a free morning. It was chilly, but all I could think about was the beach. So, I drove to Clearwater and snagged these beignets on the way.

Is there any better way to eat a beignet than on the beach? Nope, I do not think so. If you are going to indulge in anything while in Tampa, this is my #1 recommendation.

7. A To-Go Meal from LS Organics

If you are looking for a quick and healthy meal, look no further than LS Organics. Each meal is balanced with produce, proteins, healthy fats and carbs. The menu is 100% organic and simply delicious. I tried the Chicken Rollup Lasagna with green beans. It was super convenient and delicious. I highly recommend this option if you enjoy meal planning or live a very busy lifestyle.

8. An Ice-Pop at The Hyppo

Last, but certainly not least is a delicious ice pop from The Hyppo. The ice pops are made from all-natural flavors, fresh fruit, and fresh herbs and spices. Are you dairy free or vegan? They have options for you as well! The flavor I chose was Honey Cinnamon Cheesecake dipped in chocolate. Mm Mm Mmmm.
