My Ultimate Healthy Smoothie Bowl Recipe

For approximately two years I have been working to perfect my smoothie bowl recipe. If you haven’t had the pleasure of trying a smoothie bowl, I highly recommend my tried and true method. Breakfast just doesn’t feel complete without fruit, and this recipe helps me feel satisfied, full, and ready for the day. Please enjoy My Ultimate Healthy Smoothie Bowl Recipe below!

My Ultimate Healthy Smoothie Bowl Recipe

Ingredients:

1 Sambazon Unsweetened Acai Packet
1/2 Cup Frozen Mixed Berries
4 Chunks of Frozen Mango
1 Whole Banana
1/8 Cup Almond Milk, Unsweetened
1 Cup Spinach
2 Tbsps Natural Peanut Butter
1 Scoop Collagen
2 Tbsp Ground Flax Seed
1 Tbsp Granola
1/2 Tbsp Cacao Nibs
Chia Seeds for Sprinkling
Honey for Drizzling

Preparation:

  1. Place Acai Packet, mixed berries, mango, 1/2 the banana, almond milk, spinach, 1 Tbsp peanut butter, collagen, and ground flax seed into a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth. You may need to add a dash more almond milk if the mixture isn’t blending well. Do not add too much or the mixture will be runny.
  3. While smoothie is blending, cut up the second half of your banana into slices and prepare other toppings (granola, honey, peanut butter, chia seeds, and cacao nibs).
  4. Pour your smoothie mixture into a bowl.
  5. Place the banana slices, granola, peanut butter and cacao nibs on top, then sprinkle with honey and chia seeds. Have fun with it!
  6. Enjoy the deliciousness promptly.

Extra Smoothie Bowl Tips:

  1. Try to buy local honey, as it will have pollen from the flowers and plants in your area and can help with allergies. We get our honey from the museum or zoo in town!
  2. If your blender is like mine, you may need to check for larger chunks and blend again until smooth. Some blenders are better than others.
  3. Add different fruits to your mixture or substitute toppings. The flavor combinations are endless! My frozen mixed berry bag includes blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries.
