How to Create a Smoothie Bowl Cabinet
Smoothie and yogurt bowls are a regular occurrence in our home, so I decided to create a cabinet where all the ingredients are together in one place. You might not need a cabinet dedicated to smoothie ingredients, but if you enjoy them as much as we do, then why not? Read below to discover How to Create a Smoothie Bowl Cabinet.
1. Decant Your Most-Used Ingredients
Decanting is so helpful, because you can see exactly how much you have of each item. When you see ingredients running low, simply add them to the grocery list. It’s also helpful to see what you are actually using and what just sits in the cabinet gathering dust. And, come on, it’s also aesthetically pleasing, am I right?
2. Label All the Products
I have smoothies and açaà bowls regularly, so my ingredients don’t expire. However, if you are worried about losing track of what’s what, then I recommend labeling the expiration date on your decanted ingredients.
3. Organize By What You Use Most
Like I said, there might be some items you use less than others. For example, I keep a lot of various nuts in my smoothie bowl cabinet, but I don’t put them in every smoothie. Think about what you will use.
4. Add Your Personal Flare
Plating your food or adding your own personal flare is a great way to practice hygge or romanticizing your life, which I have talked about in previous posts. This is your cabinet. Do what you want with it!
5. Try New Ingredients
Sometimes I get stuck in a smoothie rut. Every now and then, go out of your way to try something new. If you have a cabinet or area in your kitchen dedicated to smoothies then you obviously love them. Go outside the box and try new ingredients. It might surprise you!
