Inspiration for an Enchanted Garden 2nd Birthday
We had quite an adventure coming home from our vacation, and made it to our house only three hours before Ronia’s second birthday party. I wanted to do several more things for the event, but just didn’t have the time. In spite of this, I hope you are able to find Inspiration for an Enchanted Garden 2nd Birthday from the content below. It really was a wonderful day in spite of the chaos right beforehand.

1. Balloon “Arch”
Luckily before we left for vacation I placed an order for this little balloon arch/garland at a local party store. I would not have had time for it otherwise. The pink birthday banner is from Etsy. I decided to get a banner that we could use for future birthdays.
2. Food Ideas
We made little “dirt and worms” cups with pudding and cookie toppings. I also picked up cupcakes from a local store, which I was also grateful to have ordered ahead of time. We put little mushroom cupcake toppers on the cupcakes, but with this enchanted garden theme you could have so many fun foods. You could do various salads or tea sandwiches. It’s fun to scroll Pinterest and look at the options.
3. Gift Bags
We kept the gift bags simple this time, because (again) I ran out of time to do other fun things. Target has a lot of fun little toys to throw in gift bags for kids. I let Ronia pick the ones we would include.
4. Direction Sign
I bought this enchanted forest directional sign printable on Etsy. The original plan was to staple them to a small stake we would plant in the yard, but alas, it did not happen. I used tacks to hand the signs on our front porch post. It did the job. You could also plant these around the house in different rooms or by the front door.
5. Flower Garlands and Butterflies
I got some of our flower garlands on Amazon and some from Target. We also had some little mushroom fairy lights and golden butterflies, also from Amazon. I actually went ahead and hung these garlands and set up the basic party decor before we left on vacation, which was a good thing. Then before people got here I planted little golden butterflies here and there with the sticky tape included in their packaging. It was beautiful!
6. Bird House Activity
The one activity we included for the kiddos attending her party was bird house painting. It was a little messy, but the kids had so much fun. I found these bird houses at JoAnn’s a few months ago, along with the paints and paintbrushes. We recommend maybe putting the paints on a paper plate rather than using the containers. And cover the table/floor if you are nervous about that kind of thing.
(The table runner is from Amazon and I made the number 2 with supplies from JoAnn’s.)
