Simple Ways to Make Your Bathroom Feel Like a Spa
You may recall last year or perhaps the year prior I wrote a similar blog post about creating a spa-like bathroom space. However, it’s been almost a year since we moved into our new home so I thought I would re-write that post based on what we’ve done in the new space. Below are five Simple Ways to Make Your Bathroom Feel Like a Spa.

1. Hang Eucalyptus in the Shower.
Someone recommended buying eucalyptus at the store to hang in our shower, and oh my goodness it has made such a difference. Our bathroom smells so crisp and fresh, especially when the eucalyptus mixes with the shower steam. This is hands down the my favorite in the list of Simple Ways to Make Your Bathroom Feel Like a Spa.
2. Diffuse Oils or Burn a Candle.
Another simple way to make your bathroom feel like a spa is to diffuse your favorite oils or burn your favorite candle. Since we had Ronia I steer clear of candles for a variety of reasons. I found this You Living diffuser dupe on Amazon and love using grapefruit and jade lemon scents in the bathroom. You could also try lavender or eucalyptus.
3. Keep the Counters Clear.
Spa’s aren’t filled with clutter and mess, so when you are looking to make your bathroom a place of peace and calm, be sure to keep the countertops clear. I don’t know about you, but the more clutter in my house the more chaotic I feel.
4. Invest in Bath Supplies.
In our house we love a good bath. If you are someone who loves a good bath now and then, be sure to invest in the proper bath supplies. Things like a tray to put your book or laptop on, bath salts, soaps and bombs, luffas, etc. Take your time looking for things until you find the right things for you. Baths are a sacred time in my opinion. Enjoy that rest and relaxation!
5. Limit Labels.
Other than the real eucalyptus in my shower the #1 way I have made my bathroom more spa-like is to limit labels. I decanted our hand soap, shampoos and conditioners, and bath supplies. Not having as many product names staring me in the face all the time has made me feel much more at peace. It also makes our bathroom feel more crisp and clean.
