The Most Festive Christmas Toys for Toddlers
My favorite thing about decorating for Christmas is unpacking all the holiday toys and books. We keep them stored away until winter so they are extra exciting for my daughter when we bring them out again. Read below to discover The Most Festive Christmas Toys for Toddlers.

1. Stories of Jesus
Jesus is the reason for the season, so I went ahead and go out our collection of stories about Jesus. There are a couple about Baby Jesus and his birth, which is helpful to explain to Ronia what Christmas is all about.
2. Christmas Tree Truck
We got this little Christmas tree truck last year, and it’s just the cutest. Ronia loves to drive her little wooden animals around in the truck.
3. Christmas Tree Stacking Toy
Our Christmas tree stacking toy is from Target. It’s pretty heavy on the bottom, so beware of that being used as a weapon or dropped on a foot. You have been warned!
4. Christmas Puzzles
I found our Christmas puzzles in the dollar spot at Target. They are a little cheap, but that’s probably why they were in the dollar spot. Still, cute and inexpensive, so I will take it.
5. Melissa & Doug Christmas Cookies
Ronia is getting a little play kitchen set for her birthday, and I’ve had these cookies in a box waiting for her for months and months. I can’t wait to see her face when she gets her own little kitchen!
6. Hearth and Hand Christmas Train Set
A new addition to our Christmas toy collection is a train set from Hearth and hand. Ronia loves playing with the train at our Discovery Center, so I thought she would enjoy having little one at home.
7. Hearth and Hand Cocoa Set
Another new addition is our little cocoa set. She plays with this set every single day and loves sharing cocoa with us or her stuffed animals.
8. Nativity Felt Board
I bought this little nativity felt board from Rally Felt Co and put it in Ronia’s room. This year I want to be sure to talk more about the true reason for the season, and her little felt board makes telling the Christmas story more tangible. She also loves having it in her big girl room.
9. Books
As always, my #1 recommendation is Christmas books. We have way too many, but can you really ever have too many books? There are so many fun holiday books for kids. I will be sure to write a blog post about our favorites soon!
